Biographical/Historical:     The Division of Communications was established in 1969 as part of the Dept. of General Services (Chapter 287 FS).  Its duties were to develop a plan of communication services to all state agencies and to coordinate, consolidate and manage communication services for state agencies.
Summary:     The series contains correspondence between the Division of Communications and various state agencies from 1971 to 1973 concerning requests for purchases of communications equipment, i.e., radios, television equipment, special telephone systems, etc.
