Biographical/Historical:     George Harry Dickinson (1852-1899) was a grocer in Tallahassee, Florida. Born in Georgia, Dickinson moved with his family to Tallahassee in the 1880s.
Summary:     This collection contains a volume of letterpress copies of the correspondence sent by G.H. Dickinson to his wholesalers of food stuffs. It contains some information on the prices of various types of food and the cost of shipping them to Tallahassee from cities in Florida, cities along the east coast, and New Orleans. The copies are very faded and hard to read.
