The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Terms Governing Use:
Biographical/Historical:     Under the Rural Water and Sewer Service Act (Ch. 74-66, Laws), the State of Florida participated in projects with federal and local governments to provide water and sewer service to eligible rural areas of Florida.  The Division of State Planning oversaw and disbursed funds for the water and sewer facilities through the Community Water and Sewer Association, Inc.  The Community Water and Sewer Association, Inc. was a non-profit Florida organization composed of rural electric cooperatives that implemented the Rural Water and Sewer Service Act.
Summary:     The series contains the administrative files of the Division of State Planning concerning the Rural Water and Sewer Service Act from 1974 to 1979.  The Community Water and Sewer Association, Inc. administered the Act for the Division.  The records include correspondence, report, maps, and blueprints.
