The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Environmental Land Management Study Committee was created by the Legislature in 1972 (Ch. 72-317, Laws).  The Committee was charged to study all facets of land resource management and land development regulation.  It was then to recommend new legislation or amendments to existing legislation which insured that Florida's land use laws provided for the highest quality of human amenities and environmental protection.  The Committee was dissolved in 1977.
Summary:     This series contains the administrative files of the Environmental Land Management Study Committee from 1968 to 1977. The records include correspondence, reports, minutes, and cassette recordings of Committee hearings.
