Biographical/Historical:     The Orlando Board of Trade organized in 1866 in Orlando, Florida. As the forerunner of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trade worked with local businesses to establish improvements in the city that would enhance their economic activity.
Summary:     This collection contains the minutes of meetings of the Board of Directors of the Orlando Board of Trade. The topics discussed deal with the efforts of the board to improve the effectiveness of the business and civic communities of Orlando. Also included is a "Program of Work," which functioned as the outline of the Board's aim and blueprint on how to achieve its goals.
