Biographical/Historical:     In 1921, the Florida Legislature passed an act providing for the enlargement, alteration, and repair of the Florida State Capitol Building (Chapter 8422, Laws of Florida). Architect Henry John Klutho of Jacksonville, Florida, submitted drawings, plans, and specifications for the modifications. The Board of Commissioners of State Institutions was responsible for approving the plans and allocating funds.
Summary:     The collection consists of the architectural drawings of Henry John Klutho for the additions and alterations to the Florida State Capitol Building.
