	Biographical/Historical:	Orange City is a city in southwest Volusia County. It is named for the thousands of acres of orange groves that residents planted in and around the city in the late 19th century, and it was incorporated as a city in 1882.
	Summary:	The single-item collection contains a map of Orange City and vicinity in Volusia County, including the landing at Blue Springs on the St. Johns River. Civil Engineer Edward R. Trafford surveyed and constructed the map in March 1877.
