	Biographical/Historical:	In 1889, Cuban immigrant Arturo P. Boza opened a funeral home in Key West. In 1926, his heir Armando P. Boza introduced the first motor hearse there before moving the entire operation to Tampa and establishing the A.P. Boza funeral home. The funeral home conducted many burials at the Colon Cemetery. Boza's sons continued the family business until 1999 when it merged with the Roel and Curry Armenia Chapel to become the Boza and Roel Funeral Home.
	Summary:	The collection contains a microfilm copy of burial records from the A.P. Boza Funeral Home. The records include information about the deceased such as name; relationship to person paying for burial services; place, date and cause of death; occupation; marital status; religion; date of birth; and parents' names and birthplaces. Volumes 1 to 20 are individually indexed. Also included is an index of deceased that the funeral home buried in Colon Cemetery from 1927 to 1964. The index provides the deceased's name and date of burial.
