Summary:     This series consists of the naturalization records of Pasco County, Florida, from 1908 to 1931.  The records include declarations of intention (1908-1929) and naturalization petitions (1908-1931).
A declaration of intention is the document in which an alien declares intent to renounce foreign allegiance and become a U.S. citizen.  It includes information such as name, birthdate, occupation, physical description, country of origin, and date of arrival in the United States.  The declarations are arranged roughly chronologically and are indexed.  The naturalization petitions contain much of the same personal information as the declarations and also include the oath of allegiance of the petitioner, a witness affidavit, and the order naming the petitioner a citizen.  Some of the petitions also include a copy of the declaration of intention.
