Biographical/Historical:     Union County was created by an act of the State Legislature in 1921 (Ch. 8516, Laws).  It was formed from the western portion of Bradford County.  The Clerk of the Circuit Court in each county serves as the official custodian of deed, marriage, and probate records.
Summary:     This series consists of a microfilm copy of the marriage records of Union County, Florida, from 1921 to 1933.  Marriage record books consist of the recorded copies of marriage licenses.  They document when a couple applied for the marriage license, when they were married, and who performed the ceremony.  The books are indexed by the last names of the grooms.
