Biographical/Historical:     Pasco County was established in 1887 by an act of the State Legislature.  It was formed from the southern portion of Hernando County.  The Clerk of the Circuit Court in each county serves as the official custodian of deed, marriage, and probate records.
Summary:     This collection consists of cartographic records of Pasco County, Florida, spanning from 1884 to 1967.  The records include State Road Dept. maps, the "Florida Grower's Atlas," an aerial land atlas, and photostatic copies of plat books.  The maps and atlases depict Pasco County, its township subdivisions, proposed and existing roads, and aerial photographs.  The "Florida Grower's Atlas" also includes maps of other Florida counties.
