Biographical/Historical:     The Charter Board of the Town of North Miami was created by the Town Council to establish a charter for North Miami (Resolution #1883).  Nine elected members served on the Board.  The Board held meetings between April 4, 1952 and July 14, 1952.  A new charter established the City of North Miami; it was approved by the Legislature in 1953 (Ch. 29318, Laws).
Summary:     This series contains the minutes of the Charter Board of North Miami from April to July 1952.  The documents reflect the process of creating a new charter for the Town of North Miami in Dade County, Florida.
