Biographical/Historical:     Okaloosa County, Florida was established in 1915 from portions of Santa Rosa and Walton counties.  It is in northwest Florida and bordered by Alabama and the Gulf of Mexico.  Eglin Air Force Base encompasses over half the county.  The County Tax Collector's Office is responsible for the collection of taxes as listed in the tax assessment rolls.
Summary:     This series contains the tax assessment rolls maintained by the County Tax Collector's Office of Okaloosa County, Florida from 1915 to 1943.  The volumes list individuals and businesses, their property, and the taxes paid.
