Biographical/Historical:     The City Charter Board of the City of Boca Raton, Florida was established September 1964 to revise the city charter.  The Board was made up of nine elected member.  The new charter was adopted by the State Legislature in 1965 (Laws, Ch. 65-1264).
Summary:     This series contains the records from 1964 to 1965 of the City Charter Board of the City of Boca Raton in Palm Beach County, Florida.  The records document the procedures of the Board in developing a charter for the city.  The materials include correspondence, minutes, and a copy of the new charter.
