State Archives of Florida Online Catalog

The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Biographical/Historical:	The Study Commission on the Florida Trial Court System was created by the Legislature (Ch. 87-314, Laws) to determine whether it was feasible to establish a one tier court system in Florida. The Chief Justice was chairman of the commission and the office of the State Courts Administrator acted as staff.
	Summary:	The series consists of the records of the Study Commission on the Florida Trial Court System. The records include minutes, reports, and background materials. The Commission met several times in late 1987 and issued its report in early 1988.
