The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Traffic Court Review Committee was created by the Florida Supreme Court (Rule 6.156) to study the organization and procedures of traffic courts in the state.  It provided information to the Supreme Court and Legislature concerning the administration and standards of these courts and recommended rules or legislation as needed.
Summary:     This series contains the records of the Traffic Court Review Committee for the period from 1977 to 1988.  The records include the minutes and correspondence of the Committee as well as minutes and correspondence of its various subcommittees.  Also included are documents that were used for the research, development, and implementation of uniform traffic court activities throughout the state.  The Committee also focused upon the problems of rehabilitating those convicted of driving while intoxicated and methods of driver improvement.
