The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Biographical/Historical:	The Clerk of the House of Representatives serves as the recording officer of the House. The duties associated with the office include enrolling bills (Ch. 11.07, Florida Statutes), registering lobbyists (Ch. 11.05 F.S.), signing bills (Art. III, Sec. 7, 1968 Constitution), and keeping journals of the proceedings. The House of Representatives designates a Clerk to serve at its pleasure (Art. III, Sec. 2, 1968 Constitution).
	Summary:	This series contains records created by committees and subsequently filed with the Clerk of the House following each legislative session. Attendance records (1976-1990, 1992-1995, 1997, 1999-2022) document the attendance of legislative committee members at committee meetings. Voting records (1975-1995, 1997-2012, 2014-2022) contain the bill number, meeting date, name of the legislator and how they voted. Committee reports (1991-2006) document actions taken by the committee on a bill.
