The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:
Summary:     This series consists of registrations and withdrawal of registrations of lobbyists filed in accordance with Chapters 11.045 and 11.061, Florida Statutes, and enacting legislation of previous years, requiring lobbyists to file a registration form with the Legislature for each principal represented by the lobbyists. Registration forms provide name of lobbyist; Social Security number; mailing address; principal represented; business telephone number; and legislative interests, general and specific (e.g. correction legislation; natural resources; departmental concerns of a state agency). Withdrawal forms provide name of lobbyist; business address; principal represented; and date representation ended. The series also includes several sets of alphabetical indexes to lobbyists covering various date spans and a few computer printouts of lobbyists, principals and expenditures.
