The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Biographical/Historical:	In 1997, the House Committee on Education Innovation became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. In 2007, the committee name was changed to the Education Innovation and Career Preparation Committee. The committee reviews legislation dealing with various aspects of education in the state.
	Summary:	This series contains recordings of House Committee on Education Innovation (1997-2000) and Committee on Education Innovation and Career Preparation (2007-2008) meetings. The recordings contain discussion on legislation concerning student financial assistance, use of Lottery funds, public school funding, parental choice, class size, charter schools, scholarships, public school construction, technology, and other related subjects.
