The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Biographical/Historical:	In 1997, the House Committee on Community Colleges and Career Preparation became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. Its functions were handled previously by the House Committee on Education (1970-1978) and the House Committee on Postsecondary Education (1978-1995). In 2004, the name changed to the House Committee on Community Colleges and Workforce. The Committee reviews legislation related to community colleges.
	Summary:	This series contains recordings of House Committee on Community Colleges and Workforce (2005-2006) and the Committee on Community Colleges and Career Preparation (1997-2000) meetings. The recordings contain discussion on legislation on postsecondary education, school facilities, postsecondary distance learning, postsecondary readiness, and tuition assistance program.
