The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1997, the House Committee on Business Development and International Trade became a standing committee with permanent staff in accordance with Ch. 68-35 Laws. In 2001, it was renamed the House Committee on Economic Development and International Trade. In 2008, it changed to the House Economic Development Policy Committee. The committee deals with issues effecting sales taxes, tax credits, wages, labor issues, land use/development, and technology.
Summary:     This series contains recordings of House Economic Development Policy Committee (2009-2010), Committee on Economic Development (2007-2008); Committee on Economic Development, Trade and Banking (2005-2006); the Committee on Economic Development and International Trade (2001-2002); and the Committee on Business Development and International Trade (1997-2000) meetings. Recordings from the Committee on Financial Institutions (2007-2008) meetings are also in this series.  The recordings contain discussion on legislation pertaining to sales taxes, tax credits, wages, labor issues, land use/development, and technology.
