Summary:     This series contains judicial appointment files of individuals appointed during the Graham administration from 1979 to 1987.  The records document appointments to county judgeships, judicial circuits, district courts of appeal, and the Supreme Court.  The series is subdivided into appointments by name and appointments by office.  The appointments by name files typically include the appointment questionnaire, a copy of the commission, and any related correspondence.  The appointment by office files typically contain the packet submitted to the Governor from the respective judicial nominating committee and include the nominating committee's recommendations, the applicant's questionnaire, and any related correspondence.
