The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. In 1968, the House Committee on Finance and Taxation became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee reviews legislation on revenue reform, the tax structure, ad valorem taxation, revenue for state and local governments, occupational license taxes, fees, and tax exemptions.
