The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1968, the Senate Committee on Transportation became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee reviews legislation on transportation, highways, and traffic safety.
Summary:     This series contains recordings of Committee on Transportation (1969-2018, 2021-2023), Select Committee on Advanced Right-of-Way Acquisition (1987-1988), and Select Task Force on Transportation (1989) meetings. The recordings document committee and subcommittee meetings and contain discussion on legislation related to air travel, airports, shipping, ports, motor vehicles, mass transit, public transportation, state and local highway systems, traffic safety, and traffic regulations.
