	Biographical/Historical:	In 1968, the Senate Committee on Education (1968-1970, 1973-present) became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee reviews legislation on all aspects of education including school management, school organization, elementary education, secondary education, school finance, teacher certification, vocational education, and postsecondary education.
	Summary:	This series contains recordings of Committee on Education (1973-2006, 2013-2014, 2017-2022) Select Subcommittee on Charter Schools (1999-2000), School Safety Task Force Meeting (1999), Select Committee on State University Admission Standards (1981), and Committee on Education PreK-12 (2007-2012, 2015-2016, 2023) meetings. The recordings contain discussions on school management, school organization, elementary education, secondary education, school finance, teacher certification, vocational education, and postsecondary education.
