The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1990, the Senate Committee on Professional Regulation (1990-present) became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws.  The Committee reviews legislation on professional regulation.  It assumed part of the functions of the Senate Committee on Economic, Professional, and Utility Regulation (1988-1990).
Summary:     This series contains the records of the Senate Committee on Professional Regulation.  The records include bill files and meeting files.  It documents legislation on examining, licensing, registering, and regulation of professionals.
