The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1988, the Senate Committee on Ethics and Elections became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee reviewed legislation on voter registration, election laws, financial disclosure, and the code of ethics for public officers and government employees.
Summary:     This series contains the records of the Senate Committee on Ethics and Elections (1989-1990, 1999-2010) and the Select Joint Committee on the Manner of Appointment of Presidential Electors (2000). The records document legislation on voter registration, election laws, financial disclosure, and codes of ethics for public officers and government employees.
