Summary:     This series contains the memoranda of the State Board of Health, Bureau of Sanitary Engineering, for the years 1946-1956 and 1966-1969.  There is a gap in coverage for the years 1956-1966.  The Bureau of Sanitary Engineering was composed of four divisions:  Water Supply, Waste Water, Industrial Waste, and Special Services.  The memoranda document the many areas of concern of the Bureau, which was charged with safeguarding public health by improving and maintaining Florida's sanitary conditions.
