Summary:     The series contains the industrial shop ledger of the Florida State Hospital and its predecessor, the Florida Hospital for the Insane.  The ledger lists items made and repaired from January 1918 to May 1922.  One of the major accounts was for shoe repair. The accounts were divided into three areas:  (1) hospital, (2) state, and (3) private.  For the hospital and state accounts, the date and number of shoes repaired is listed.  The private accounts contain the name of the client, as well as the date and cost of repair. Other items made or repaired include hoses, brooms, coats, pants, chairs, and tables.  Each of these items is listed separately within the statistical data.
