Summary:     The series contains payroll records from 1904 to 1954 for the Florida State Hospital and its predecessor, the Florida Hospital for the Insane.  The records document the salary history of the psychiatric hospital and provide information about positions and pay scales.  There are some gaps in the date span of the records, specifically for the years 1905-1908, 1912, 1914, 1945, and 1950-1953.
