	Summary:	This series contains records detailing the administration of several programs that attempted to eliminate the occurrence of sexual violence and addressed the needs of victims through: 1) raising awareness, and 2) providing proper training for sexual violence victim treatment providers. The Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services oversaw these programs and administered the federal grants that funded them. The Department published requests for proposals. The RFP records include provider responses from around the state, rating sheets that were used for ordering the most compliant responses, and some correspondence between the administrators and the providers. The rating sheets refer to three different requests for proposals: 1) RFP #9 is entitled Rape Prevention Education and Training, 2) RFP #12 is entitled Interdisciplinary Rape Science and Training Institute, and 3) RFP #91R is entitled Rape Awareness. Also included are some budgetary and contracting records which provide some insight to the activities and conditions of various agencies that were involved with these programs at various times.
