The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series consists of files tracking projects to improve the conditions in and around Florida's lakes and streams.  The series includes correspondence; restoration background/history reports; feasibility studies; commission position statements regarding project proposals; research studies and test results on lake and stream conditions; project status and activity reports; press releases; journal articles; and photographs.
    The materials concern restoration project legislation; project planning and management; project status and activities; pollution; fish and wildlife conditions; and vegetation.
    Correspondence is between the commission and state and national legislators, the governor's office, local government officials, water management district officials, pollution control officials, health and sanitation officials, biologists, and engineers.
