The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series documents the operational leadership and activities of the Executive Director and the office of the Executive Director of the Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and its predecessor, the Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission.  The records include correspondence, memoranda, reports, reading files and general administrative files related to the management of the Commission and of Florida's wildlife resources.  The records include files maintained by Executive Director Colonel Robert M. Brantley (1982-1988) and by the office of the Executive Director (1988-1991), as well as files of Executive Director Dr. Allan Egbert (1993-2001), who presided over the merger of the Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission and several other offices into the Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.  There is some overlap in the dates and subjects within the files of the Director himself and those kept by his office.  The records include correspondence, memoranda, reports, reading files and general administrative files related to the management of the Commission and of Florida's wildlife resources.
