The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series contains field service records dated 1965-1972 from the Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District pertaining to the pumping and maintenance of the canals, lakes, and levees under its jurisdiction.  The records include correspondence, permits, leases, memoranda, and field inspection documents.  The water district included the counties of Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Collier, Hendry, Lee, Monroe, Glades, and parts of Charlotte, Orange, Osceola, Okeechobee, Polk, and Highlands.
