The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series contains the administrative files of Elton Gissendanner, Executive Director of the Dept. of Natural Resources, from 1979 to 1982.  The records include reports, memoranda, correspondence, and publications.  Topics include the conservation of Florida's natural resources, development of water resources, control of state lands, coastal zone management, fishery management, and environmental policy.  The series documents the interactions between the Executive Director and the Department's divisions; other state and federal agencies; and organizations and associations.
