The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The State Board of Independent Postsecondary Vocational, Technical, Trade, and Business Schools was established in 1974 (Ch. 74-360) to administer the establishment and operation of these schools.  The Board consists of nine members appointed by the Governor:  one from a technical school, one from a business school, one from a home study school, three from business and industry, one from public education schools, and two from nonpublic business or vocational schools.
Summary:     This series contains the minutes of the State Board of Independent Postsecondary Vocational, Technical, Trade, and Business Schools from 1979 to 1985.  The records include topics discussed, decisions made, and actions taken by the Board.
