Summary:     The series contains the Florida Bicentennial Trail project files of the Bicentennial Commission of Florida from 1972 to 1976.  The records include reports, correspondence, speeches, photographs, and other materials related to the evaluation, selection, and development of historic sites for the Florida Bicentennial Trail. Included are trail brochures for the Crystal River Indian mounds, Fort Caroline, Castillo de San Marcos, McLarty State Museum, Fort San Marcos de Apalachee, Kingsley Plantation, Bulow Plantation ruins, Cape Florida Lighthouse, Dade Battlefield, Gamble Mansion, Vizcaya, and Kennedy Space Center.
