Our object is to be near an older married daughter of mine . . . We regret our Boston, and our New Orleans too, and try to make the best of our residence here. This is my native city, but I have lived out of it for forty years . . . Did I write you of . . . getting a Woman's Exchange started in [Jacksonville]? . . . Can't you do something to help such an enterprise? . . ."
